Questions?

Get answers to common questions about colocation, pricing, data center services, the onboarding process, and working with DataHub Innovations.

What is edge colocation and why does location matter?

Edge colocation means housing your servers and hardware in a data center physically close to your users and your team. Unlike hyperscale facilities hundreds of miles away, an edge facility like ours in Los Angeles delivers lower network latency, faster access for your IT staff, and better performance for local-serving applications — all while maintaining enterprise-grade uptime and security.

What's included with a Partial Cabinet?

Partial Cabinets start at $399/month and include 5U, 10U, or larger partial rack allocations with both A and B power feeds, 24/7 facility access, physical security, and the option to add Smarter Hands support. It's the ideal entry point for businesses that need reliable, managed colocation without the cost of a full cabinet.

Can I scale from a partial rack to a full cabinet later?

Absolutely — and this is one of our most popular growth paths. Our infrastructure is designed with Scale by Design as a core principle, meaning you can expand from a partial rack to a full cabinet, or from one cabinet to a multi-rack DataHub environment, without migrating providers or disrupting your operations. We plan the transition with you at every step.

What does "Smarter Hands" support mean?

Smarter Hands goes beyond standard remote hands. Our trained technicians can perform tasks like server racking and cabling, equipment troubleshooting, firmware updates, hardware swaps, and more — on your behalf, on-site, exactly when you need it. It's like having a dedicated data center technician on call without the full-time headcount cost.

Do you support AI and high-density compute workloads?

Yes — AI-ready infrastructure is a core focus for us. High-density GPU servers and AI compute workloads demand more power and cooling per rack unit than traditional servers. We work with you to design the right power allocation, cooling approach, and network architecture to support your AI workloads efficiently and reliably at the edge.

How quickly can I get onboarded?

After your initial consultation and proposal approval, most clients are able to begin deploying hardware within days to a couple of weeks, depending on their configuration. We pride ourselves on fast, organized onboarding that gets you online and operational as quickly as possible — far faster than large hyperscale providers.
